Registered Veterinary Nurse – Independent Small Animal Practice

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a growing, independently owned small animal practice. This role offers a supportive, family-friendly working environment, a varied clinical caseload, and excellent opportunities for professional development.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding Registered Veterinary Nurse job within a modern, well-equipped practice offering both general and specialist small animal veterinary services.

Nurses rotate through multiple areas of the practice, ensuring strong clinical exposure and skill development, including:

• Theatre nursing and surgical support

• Inpatient care and hospital nursing

• Nurse consultations

• Dispensary duties

• Patient monitoring and client care

The practice operates a cat-friendly environment, with cats and dogs separated throughout their visit, including dedicated waiting areas, consult rooms, prep areas, theatres, and wards.

Working pattern:

• 4-day working week

• Shared weekend rota

• No out-of-hours (OOH) requirements

• Full-time preferred; part-time considered

The ideal candidate will be a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and delivering high standards of patient and client care.
