A client we are representing is seeking a New Graduate Veterinarian to join their well-established small animal hospital in Yeppoon on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast.

The Hospital
The hospital is a modern, purpose-built facility designed to support high-quality veterinary care and a positive working environment.

4 consulting rooms including a dedicated feline consult room

2 fully equipped surgical theatres

ICU and isolation ward

Separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas

Full anaesthetic monitoring (ETCO₂, ECG, NIBP)

You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team made up of:

The hospital works with a true team-based approach, meaning you’ll have strong nursing support during consults, procedures, and case management.
Nurses assist with:

Nurse consults

Writing up notes
-
Triage
-
Procedures

Handling initial after-hours calls
This allows veterinarians to focus on diagnostics, case management, and client communication, which is particularly beneficial for new graduates building confidence.
The Role

100% Small Animal practice

Full-time or part-time available

Shared after-hours rotating roster

Exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical cases

Who We’re Looking For
This role would suit a new or recent graduate veterinarian who:

Holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)

Is eligible for registration in Australia
