Night Veterinary Surgeon – 7 On / 14 Off – London – Up to £70k

An established 24-hour small animal hospital in London is looking for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced overnight team on a 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota — offering long stretches of downtime alongside a varied and rewarding ECC caseload.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who enjoys emergency work but also values support, structure and time away from practice.

The Role

• Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon position
• Salary from £62,000–£70,000 DOE
• 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota
• Work alongside an experienced Night RVN
• Varied caseload including emergency consults, inpatient care and overnight monitoring
• Support from an established 24-hour hospital team
• Modern hospital facilities including CT, ultrasound, endoscopy and dedicated surgical theatres

The caseload offers a great mix of medical and surgical cases, making this role ideal for a vet wanting to develop confidence and experience in ECC within a supportive environment.

About You

You’ll be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid small animal experience and a calm, practical approach to overnight work. Previous ECC experience is beneficial, but confident GP vets with an interest in emergency medicine are also encouraged to apply.
