We are recruiting two Registered Veterinary Nurses to join a busy and well-established small animal practice in Buckinghamshire, UK. One role is permanent and the other is a maternity cover position, offering a great opportunity to join a supportive 5-vet team within a thriving clinic environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys working in a fast-paced, varied practice with a strong team around them. The clinic sees a busy caseload and also has on-site kennels, cattery facilities, and grooming services, making it a dynamic place to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to small animal patients
• Support vets with consultations, procedures, and inpatient care
• Assist with anaesthesia, theatre work, and diagnostics
• Monitor hospitalised patients and maintain accurate clinical records
• Provide excellent client communication and patient care
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team

Requirements

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered or eligible)
• Previous small animal practice experience preferred
• Confident working in a busy practice environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and compassionate approach to patient care

Working Pattern

40 hours per week

• Shift patterns typically include:
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 8:00am – 5:30pm
• 10:30am – 7:00pm
