Experienced ECC Veterinary Surgeon
Night Role (7 on / 7 off)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy emergency hospital in South Wales, UK. This permanent night role offers a varied caseload, excellent facilities, and the chance to work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team.

This position is ideal for a confident ECC clinician who enjoys managing complex emergency cases, working independently while still benefiting from strong team support and excellent nursing care.

The Role

• Permanent night position
• 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota
• Average 46.25 hours per week
• Manage a varied and rewarding ECC caseload including complex medical and surgical cases
• Work alongside experienced vets supported by a large team of RVNs, Animal Care Assistants, and reception staff
• Excellent clinical autonomy with the ability to work cases up thoroughly

Requirements

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with ECC experience
• Confident managing emergency cases independently
• Strong clinical decision-making and emergency care skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency hospital environment
• RCVS registered (or eligible)

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £100,000 DOE
• 7 on / 7 off rota supporting excellent work-life balance
• 5 days CPD with £1,750 budget
