Position details:
Full time is $130K-140K for four days/week and every other Saturday.
10K sign in bonus.
20% production.
Health insurance.
CE credit $2,500.
Two weeks paid time off/year.
Part time is $65-$70K. Three days/week and every other Saturday.
 

Small Animal Veterinarian (DVM)

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Small Animal Veterinarian (DVM) to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality medical care, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a collaborative and positive hospital environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of small animal medical conditions

  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures (based on experience)

  • Interpret diagnostic tests including radiographs, bloodwork, and lab results

  • Prescribe medications and provide preventative care recommendations

  • Educate clients on pet health, wellness, and treatment options

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow

  • Uphold the highest standards of patient care and client service


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license in the applicable state (or ability to obtain)

  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills

  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply (mentorship available, if applicable)


Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with soft tissue surgery and dentistry

  • Proficiency in ultrasound or advanced diagnostics

  • Interest in a particular area of medicine (e.g., internal medicine, dermatology, emergency care)
