The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a senior role within a well-established, forward-thinking practice on the South Coast. You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team with a strong clinical focus and access to advanced equipment.

The practice is ideally located close to the coast, offering an excellent work-life balance with easy access to vibrant town centres, transport links to London, and plenty of lifestyle amenities.

The Practice

You’ll be supported by an experienced and well-structured team, including:

• 4.5 Veterinary Surgeons
• Certificate holders in cardiology, small animal surgery, behaviour, and ECC
• Skilled nursing team (RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs)
• Dedicated reception team

Facilities include:

• Laparoscopy and endoscopy (rigid & flexible)
• Ultrasound and full in-house laboratory
• Digital X-ray and dental X-ray
• Separate cat and dog wards with underfloor heating
• Spacious, modern consult rooms

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures
• Build strong client relationships with clear communication
• Create tailored treatment plans with accurate cost estimates
• Provide clinical leadership and support to the wider team
• Mentor and develop colleagues to enhance team performance
• Ensure high standards of clinical governance and compliance
• Support case continuity and handovers where required

About You

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Strong clinical experience with leadership capability
• Confident working within a team environment
• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care
• Interested in developing a progressive clinical culture
• Experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £70,000 DOE
