Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a friendly, well-equipped practice with no OOH and no on-call? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, community-focused team just 25 minutes south of Dublin.
The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established, practice with two sites located in a thriving coastal area near Dublin. Established for over 30 years, the clinic has built a loyal client base and strong local reputation.
You’ll be joining a welcoming and experienced team of veterinary surgeons and nurses who genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another. With senior vets on hand for guidance and mentorship, this is an ideal environment to continue developing your clinical skills.
The Role

Full-time position (4 days per week)

1 in 3 weekends

No out-of-hours or on-call

Shift pattern:
-
Early: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Late: 10:00am – 7:00pm

32–38 hours per week (including weekends)

Salary: €80,000 pro rata
You’ll be primarily based at one site, with occasional flexibility where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- First opinion consultations and case work-ups
- Routine surgeries including neutering, dentals, and lump removals
- Diagnostics including radiography, ultrasound, and lab work
- Developing treatment plans and delivering high-quality patient care
- Building strong client relationships through clear and compassionate communication
- Supporting preventative healthcare and end-of-life care decisions
- Opportunity to contribute to clinical protocols and practice development
Facilities & Equipment
You’ll have access to modern equipment to support your clinical work, including:
- Digital radiography
- Endoscopy
- Dental suite
- In-house laboratory
About You
- RCVS/VCI registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine consultations and small animal surgery
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working independently when required
- Keen to develop clinically and contribute to practice growth
