Global Veterinary Careers is partnering with a well-established specialty and emergency hospital in the heart of Fort Worth, TX. The hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinarian – Criticalist to join its highly skilled and collaborative team. As a Criticalist, you will work alongside experienced emergency clinicians and specialists, delivering advanced, high-quality care to critically ill patients in a modern and supportive environment.

The Role

Full-Time Veterinary Critical Care including:

· Management of critically ill and unstable patients
· Oversight of ICU cases and treatment plans
· Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
· Mechanical ventilation and critical monitoring
· Collaboration with ER veterinarians and specialists
· Client communication for complex and critical cases
· Mentorship of interns, residents, and support staff
· Participation in clinical development and protocols

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

· DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited university
· Board certification (DACVECC) or residency-trained in Emergency & Critical Care
· ECFVG or PAVE if attended non-AVMA accredited university
· DEA, State, and USDA licenses (can be acquired when hired)
· Strong experience in critical care and emergency medicine
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
