The hospital is seeking a full‑time Medical Director / Associate Veterinarian to provide clinical leadership, guide the veterinary team, and elevate standards of patient care across the practice. In this position you will practice medicine across a broad caseload while also taking on leadership responsibilities, including mentoring associates, supporting staff development, and working closely with practice leadership to drive clinical outcomes and culture. The Role
Medical Director responsibilities include:
· Oversight of clinical operations and standards of care
· Providing hands‑on veterinary medicine, including wellness, surgery, and diagnostics
· Mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians and support staff
· Modeling high‑quality patient care and communication with clients
· Collaborating with leadership on clinical growth initiatives and practice goals

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
· DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited university
· NAVLE
· ECFVG or PAVE if attended non‑AVMA accredited university
· DEA, state veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
· USDA accreditation (or ability to obtain)
· Demonstrated clinical experience in small animal practice
· Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
· Strong communication skills and a team‑orientated mindset
· A passion for high‑quality, compassionate care
