Hospital & Branch Role, Buckinghamshire
(4-Day Week)

Join a well-established, independent small animal practice in Buckinghamshire with multiple sites, offering a varied and rewarding Registered Veterinary Nurse role across a hospital and branch setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, highly skilled team where support, development, and work-life balance are genuinely prioritised.

The Role

  • 4-day working week
  • Shifts between 8:00am – 7:00pm
  • Split between hospital and branch (rota dependent)
  • Varied caseload including:
    • Nurse consultations
    • Surgical nursing
    • Inpatient care
  • Opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in orthopaedics and cardiology
  • Large, supportive team environment (20+ vets, RVNs, and support staff)

Out of Hours (OOH)

  • Approximately 1 night per week
  • On-site accommodation available for overnight stays
  • Ability to rest/sleep if not busy
  • Paid additionally for:
    • OOH shift
    • Each inpatient check

Salary & Benefits

  • £28,000 for newly qualified RVNs
  • Up to £33,000 for more experienced nurses
  • Overtime and OOH paid on top (realistic earnings into high £30Ks–£40Ks)
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Flexible rota options available (including part-time or reduced OOH for experienced nurses)
