The Role
We’re recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, collaborative team in a well-established small animal hospital setting.
This is a flexible position, with both full-time (40 hours) and part-time options available, allowing you to tailor your work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care to a varied small animal caseload
- Perform consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards and best practice
- Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate
About the Practice
This is a modern, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital, offering access to excellent facilities and equipment, including:
- Multiple fully equipped theatres
- Advanced imaging (ultrasound, echocardiography, digital X-ray)
- Endoscopy and bronchoscopy equipment
- Full orthopaedic kit (including TPLO/TTA capability)
- On-site laboratory with advanced testing
- Dedicated dog and cat wards and isolation facilities
The practice also provides 24-hour onsite care, including out-of-hours services and referral work, giving exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload.
Located on the Norfolk/Suffolk coast, the area offers a fantastic lifestyle with coastal scenery and access to the Norfolk Broads, while still maintaining reasonable transport links to London.
About You
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Is confident managing a varied caseload (or eager to develop within a supportive environment)
- Has strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting colleagues
- Is committed to delivering excellent client and patient care
- Is motivated to continue learning and developing professionally
Both experienced vets and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
