Registered Veterinary Nurse – Peak District (North West)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a long-established, independent small animal practice on the edge of the Peak District. This is a great role for an RVN who enjoys a varied caseload, hands-on nursing, and being part of a genuinely supportive, close-knit team.

This well-regarded practice offers a stable and welcoming environment, with excellent staff retention and a strong focus on teamwork and clinical standards.


The Role

  • Full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position

  • Involvement in inpatient care and monitoring

  • Theatre and surgical nursing duties

  • Nurse consultations

  • Supporting a busy and varied small animal caseload

  • Playing an active role in the day-to-day running of the practice

Working Hours

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 10:30am – 6:30pm

  • Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • No weekends

  • No on-call or out-of-hours


The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified and RCVS-registered RVN

  • Confident working independently

  • Comfortable in a busy practice environment

  • Team-focused with a positive and reliable attitude

  • Keen to be part of a long-standing, supportive team
