Registered Veterinary Nurse – Independent Practice | Newcastle | Up to £34,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a large, independent mixed veterinary practice in the Newcastle area.

This is a fantastic role for an RVN looking for variety, clinical exposure, and a supportive team environment, working across both branch and hospital settings.

The Role

• Full-time, 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri)
• Shared rota for weekends, nights, and bank holidays
• Split between branch work and hospital-based care
• Exposure to a wide and varied caseload

You’ll be involved in all aspects of nursing, including:

• Inpatient and hospital care
• Theatre and clinical support
• Day-to-day running of clinical areas
• Supporting and mentoring student nurses

About You

We’re looking for an RVN who:

• Holds a valid RCVS registration
• Has a full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Is confident working independently and within a team
• Has a positive, proactive and empathetic approach
• Enjoys building strong client relationships
