The Hospital
Global Veterinary Careers is supporting a modern, well-equipped small animal hospital in California looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to its team.
This is a busy, progressive practice offering a strong mix of general practice, urgent care, and surgical cases. With advanced technology, excellent facilities, and a collaborative culture, this role provides the ideal environment to develop clinically while being supported by an experienced and well-structured team.
The Role
• Full-time or part-time opportunity
• Flexible scheduling with options including 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Open 6 days per week with no regular Sunday hours
• Rotating Saturday coverage as needed
• Small animal caseload (dogs and cats)
• Exposure to urgent care and surgical cases

The Practice
• Well-equipped facility with 8 exam rooms, treatment area, and dedicated dental and surgical suites
• Advanced in-house diagnostics including CBC, chemistries, and electrolytes
• Access to external laboratory services for additional testing
• Modern imaging capabilities including ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental radiographs
• Ability to consult with board-certified radiologists for case support
• Full surgical monitoring equipment including advanced patient monitoring systems
• Additional services including boarding, grooming, pharmacy, and EMR systems
• Computers in every exam room for efficient workflow
• Hands-free radiology and fear-free approach embedded into daily practice
• Strong community involvement through partnerships with local rescue groups

Requirements
• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited university or equivalent
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in California
• Solid foundation in general practice medicine and surgery
