We’re recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, busy small animal practice in Wigan, UK, offering a varied caseload, strong clinical support, and flexibility around your working week.

The Role

• Small animal Veterinary Surgeon position
• Flexible full-time or part-time hours available
• 1 in 5 Saturdays (9am–3pm)
• No fixed rota – designed around you
• 20-minute consults as standard
• Protected admin time built into the day
• Interesting and varied caseload

The Team & Environment

You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team including:

• 5 Veterinary Surgeons
• 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses
• 5 Receptionists
• 3 VCAs

The nursing team is highly skilled, with advanced qualifications in anaesthesia, ECC, and feline nursing, creating a strong clinical environment focused on gold-standard care and evidence-based practice.

About You

• Minimum 4 years UK veterinary experience (essential)
• Confident in consults and client communication
• A team player who enjoys collaboration and idea-sharing
• Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care
