The Opportunity

If you’re a confident GP Vet who enjoys a good surgical caseload without the chaos, this is one of those roles that just feels… easy to settle into.

This is a 6-12 month maternity cover within a genuinely well-run, well-supported North London practice, the kind where the team know each other well, the clients trust you, and you’re not firefighting every day.

You’ll step into an established caseload, work alongside an experienced vet, and have the backing of a wider clinical network; so you can focus on doing your job well, not just getting through the day.

The Practice

A well-established, community-focused practice in Borough of Islington, with a strong reputation locally.
 

You’ll have everything you need on-site to work cases up properly:

• In-house lab
• Digital x-ray & ultrasound
• Dentistry suite
• Dedicated operating theatre

It’s a busy but manageable GP caseload, with a team that genuinely works together; not just alongside each other.

The Role

• Full-time – 40 hours per week
• 4-day working week
• 1 in 3 Saturdays
• 6-12 month maternity cover
• Start date: June 2026
• Salary: £60,000 pro rata
