I’m working with a well-established, supportive small animal practice in North Essex offering excellent clinical exposure and a collaborative team environment. With multiple sites and a growing surgical caseload, this is a great opportunity for a vet looking to develop or further specialise in surgery.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a varied caseload with a strong focus on surgical procedures
• Perform routine and more advanced surgeries
• Support inpatient care and medical case management
• Handle emergency cases where required
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the team

Clinical Expertise – Strong surgical capability
Criteria: RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid GP and surgical experience

Criteria: Working towards or holding a surgical certificate (desirable)

Independence – Confident case management
Criteria: Able to manage surgical and medical cases independently

Team Collaboration – Positive and communicative
Criteria: Works well within a supportive team environment

Emergency Care – Comfortable handling urgent cases
Criteria: Confident managing emergencies when required
