A well-established veterinary network with a long-standing presence across the Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Multi-Site Business Manager to lead operations across multiple clinics.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the strategic and operational performance of multiple clinics while remaining closely connected to day-to-day operations.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping culture, improving commercial outcomes, and mentoring clinic leaders to achieve their full potential. With centralised administrative support in place, your focus will be on leading people, driving performance, and enhancing the client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading operations across multiple clinic sites, with a focus on consistency and best practice
- Driving financial performance, including KPI delivery and P&L accountability
- Implementing growth and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring a high-quality, consistent client experience across all locations
- Mentoring and developing clinic leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement
- Supporting workforce planning, performance management, and team development
About You
You are a confident and authentic leader who understands that strong results come from strong relationships. You’re comfortable navigating both the strategic and operational aspects of a business and can adapt your approach across diverse teams and environments.
You bring a balanced leadership style – hands-on when needed, but also capable of stepping back to drive long-term growth and direction.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 3–5 years’ experience managing multiple sites or regions (ideally within healthcare, veterinary, retail, or similar environments)
- Strong commercial acumen, including financial reporting and KPI management
- Proven experience leading teams through growth, change, and operational complexity
- Solid skills in people leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution
- The ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels
Desirable:
- Qualifications in business, leadership, HR, or a related field
- Experience within veterinary, healthcare, retail, or franchise-style environments
