About the Role

The hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive and progressive veterinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and client service. This role is ideal for a veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery who is eager to work in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality medicine, professional growth, and work/life balance.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to companion animals, including dogs, cats, and exotics, while contributing to a positive and team-oriented hospital culture. The Associate Veterinarian will serve as a primary surgeon within the practice and work closely with experienced veterinary professionals and dedicated support staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality preventative, medical, diagnostic, and surgical care to companion animals and exotic pets
  • Perform soft tissue surgeries and other surgical procedures in accordance with best clinical practices
  • Develop diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Educate clients on wellness, nutrition, preventative care, pain management, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and workflow
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Candidate Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
