About the Role
The hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive and progressive veterinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and client service. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to companion animals, including dogs, cats, and exotics, while contributing to a positive and team-oriented hospital culture. The Associate Veterinarian will serve as a primary surgeon within the practice and work closely with experienced veterinary professionals and dedicated support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality preventative, medical, diagnostic, and surgical care to companion animals and exotic pets
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and other surgical procedures in accordance with best clinical practices
- Develop diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Educate clients on wellness, nutrition, preventative care, pain management, and treatment options
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and workflow
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Candidate Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
- Strong interest and experience in surgery preferred

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
