A client we are representing is seeking a motivated New Graduate Veterinarian to join their independently owned small animal hospital in Sunnybank.
This is a rare opportunity for a new grad who is hungry to learn, excited by surgery, and wants to be surrounded by experienced clinicians who enjoy teaching and developing younger vets.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled veterinary team that includes experienced surgeons, ultrasonographers, and an exotics vet, with exposure to a fantastic surgical caseload and strong day-to-day mentorship.
About the Role
- Surgery-focused caseload with exposure to both routine and more advanced procedures
- Supported consult work to help build confidence and communication skills
- Work alongside highly experienced vets every shift
- Never sole charge
- Opportunity to observe and assist with orthopaedic procedures
- Strong focus on mentorship, development, and clinical growth

What They’re Looking For
- A new or recent graduate veterinarian
- Someone hard-working, motivated, and eager to learn
- Open to feedback and keen to continually improve
- A team player who enjoys collaboration
- Strong interest in surgery and hands-on learning
- Willingness to stay back occasionally to observe, assist, and gain experience
- BVSc (or equivalent) and eligible for veterinary registration in Australia
- Full working rights in Australia
Roster
Open to full-time or part-time.
Clinic hours:
- Mon–Thu: 8am–7pm
- Fri: 8am–6pm
- Sat: 8am–5pm
- 3 in 4 Saturdays required
