Veterinary Surgeon – Part Time – Brighton

The Role

This is a temporary maternity cover position for 6–12 months, ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a diverse caseload and thrives in a supportive, team-focused environment.

You’ll work alongside an experienced clinical team, managing a wide range of medical and surgical cases while helping pets and owners who truly need support. The role offers excellent clinical exposure, collaborative case discussion, and the opportunity to continue developing your skills in a modern hospital setting.

Salary & Benefits

• £48,000 – £60,000 pro rata (including allowances)
• Part-time position – 22.5 hours per week

Working Pattern

• 1 in 6/7 weekends between 8am–8pm with additional uplift payment
• 24-hour stand down the following week after weekend work
• 1 in 6/7 late shifts until 10pm with inpatient on-call support
• Occasional teleconsulting shifts with potential for home working
