An exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive, dedicated OOH team at a large, recently refurbished RCVS-accredited small animal hospital on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds. 🌙

About the Practice

This large, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital and emergency services clinic operates from a recently refurbished main site in Gloucestershire, with excellent motorway access to the South West, London and the North.

• 4 operating theatres

• Laparoscopic equipment
• Rigid and flexible endoscopy
• State-of-the-art ultrasound

The practice supports numerous other practices across the county alongside its own client base, providing a genuinely challenging and varied emergency caseload. The day team comprises 20 small animal vets including various certificate holders — providing strong clinical support and collaboration.

About the Role

This is a permanent night vet position working 7 nights on, 14 nights off (Monday to Sunday), with holiday taken during non-working time. Local accommodation is available for those who need it.

You'll lead the dedicated night nursing team, managing a varied and challenging emergency caseload spanning medical and surgical presentations. You'll be the clinical lead overnight, supported by a strong day team and well-equipped facilities.
