A client we are representing is seeking a Small Animal Surgeon to join a leading university veterinary teaching hospital in Tropical North Queensland. The Opportunity
You will be involved in:
- Delivering high-quality small animal surgical services through the teaching hospital
- Teaching within the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) curriculum
- Supervising and mentoring veterinary students during clinical rotations
- Participating in clinical research and publication opportunities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary academics and veterinary professionals
- Helping contribute to the ongoing development of the veterinary science programme
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in Queensland
- Formal training and experience in small animal surgery
- A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Someone excited by the opportunity to help educate the vets of the future
