Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Hospital Practice – Wiltshire
Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to step into a senior leadership role within a progressive, well-equipped hospital environment?
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly respected RCVS-accredited practice in Wiltshire, working closely alongside the Clinical Director while helping shape clinical standards, team development, and patient care across a large multi-site practice.
The Role
- Senior Veterinary Surgeon position
- Full-time opportunity
- 38-hour week
- 4-day working week Monday to Friday
- Leadership-focused clinical role within a Tier 3 hospital environment
- Excellent opportunity for vets aspiring towards a future Clinical Director position
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinical care across a varied small animal caseload
- Support and deputise for the Clinical Director when required
- Promote and model strong clinical leadership across the team
- Support clinical governance and high standards of patient care
- Mentor and support colleague development
- Assist with service delivery and workflow management
- Confidently manage client communication and complaint resolution
- Promote collaborative decision-making and positive team culture

This is a well-established, RCVS-accredited veterinary group with branches across North Wiltshire and a central Tier 3 hospital.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 6.6 weeks paid holiday including Bank Holidays
- £1,750 CPD allowance (enhanced for CertAVP holders)
