A client we are representing is looking for a Senior Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced and supportive team in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident all-rounder who enjoys working across all areas of the clinic and takes pride in delivering a high standard of patient care.

This role would suit a nurse with 8–10+ years of experience who is looking for a long-term position within a collaborative and well-equipped environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and monitoring complex anaesthetics, including high-risk patients
• Using advanced monitoring equipment including capnography, blood pressure monitoring, and ideally ECG
• Assisting with emergency and critical care cases, including triage and CPR when required
• Performing blood collection and placing IV catheters confidently, including difficult placements
• Taking high-quality radiographs and dental X-rays
• Assisting with ultrasound procedures and in-house diagnostics
• Supporting all areas of the clinic including surgery, hospital, consult support, and treatment areas

About You

• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience)
• 8–10+ years of veterinary nursing experience
• Strong anaesthetic knowledge and confidence monitoring advanced cases
• Excellent all-round clinical nursing skills
• Comfortable working in a busy and collaborative environment
• Full Australian working rights required

What’s on Offer

• $34–$38 per hour + super (depending on experience)
• 76 hours per fortnight
• Saturday shifts required as needed
• 4 weeks paid annual leave
• $2,000 CPD allowance annually
• Flexible start date for the right person
