Who they are
This is a friendly, well-established small animal practice on the Norfolk coast in Great Yarmouth, and the next twelve months are shaping up to be an exciting period of growth — both clinically and as a team.
The culture here is genuinely collaborative, with everyone supported in doing their best work and clinicians empowered to make decisions and shape clinical standards.
The practice is well equipped with orthopaedic kit, dental X-ray, radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory analysers and multiparameter monitors. Endoscopy and laparoscopic facilities are also available through a local site, extending the clinical capability available to the team.
It is a setup that allows vets to deliver a high standard of care without being held back by the limitations of the equipment around them. The team includes vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists, all working within a culture where best practice is shared openly, improvement is encouraged and learning is part of the day to day.

What you will do
The role is structured around two operating days and two consulting days per week, giving a clear and satisfying balance of surgical and clinical work. You will be leading on surgical and medical cases, carrying out diagnostic investigations with the full benefit of the practice's in-house equipment, and building genuine relationships with a loyal client base.
Whether you are an experienced vet looking for a role that rewards your skills appropriately, or someone earlier in your career who wants a supportive environment to grow into, this practice is set up to make the most of where you are right now.

What you will gain
£70,000 or more depending on experience, negotiable for the right candidate.
A relocation bonus of up to £2,000 is available. Flexible hours with full time and part time both considered, ideally 40 hours per week.

The practice is part of a wider group with access to market-leading learning and development resources, on-the-job training and collaboration with skilled colleagues across the network.
Career development pathways into leadership or specialist roles are available for those who want them.

What they need from you
A vet who is confident across both surgery and consultations, comfortable with clinical autonomy and genuinely motivated by delivering great patient and client care.
Whether you are building your confidence or looking to deepen existing expertise, you will find a team here that supports you in doing it.
