The Opportunity

Looking for locum shifts within a genuinely high-end, independent hospital setting where your nursing skills will be fully utilised?

GVC is working with a progressive, independently owned small animal hospital and branch practice in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, offering a selection of locum RVN shifts throughout June and July 2026.

This is a standout opportunity for an RVN who enjoys working in a well-equipped, fast-paced clinical environment, with exposure to more advanced cases than typical first-opinion practice.

The Role

You’ll be working as a Locum RVN within a busy hospital environment, supporting a team of vets, RVNs and support staff across a varied caseload.

Duties Will Include:

• Inpatient care and monitoring
• Theatre support and anaesthesia
• Nurse consultations where required
• Supporting the wider clinical team in delivering high standards of care

May 2026

• Friday 29th May 08:00–18:45

June 2026

• Tuesday 2nd June 08:00–18:45
• Saturday 13th June 08:00–19:30
• Sunday 14th June 08:00–19:30

July 2026

• Saturday 25th July 08:30–16:30
• Thursday 30th July 08:00–18:45

About You

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Confident working within a busy clinical environment
• Comfortable with inpatient care, theatre and general nursing duties
• Previous hospital or high caseload experience desirable
