About the Role

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term position working 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working options available.

As Veterinary Surgeon Team Leader, you'll hold clinical governance responsibility for the hospital and lead the veterinary surgeon team — combining hands-on surgical and medical work with full team leadership responsibilities.

The caseload is surgically biased with a pragmatic, evidence-based approach to medicine. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the veterinary surgeon team and overseeing clinical governance
• Recruitment, coaching and development of the team
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with a wide range of clients
• Sharing skills and leading by example across clinical practice
• Contributing to continuous improvement and new ways of working

They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with more than 3 years post-qualification experience who enjoys surgical work and is confident taking on full team leadership responsibilities.
