The Role

A friendly small animal clinic in Balhannah is seeking a Locum Veterinary Nurse to assist with an extended period of leave coverage from mid-August through to late September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse seeking a consistent block of work with a supportive team in the beautiful Adelaide Hills region.

• All-rounder nursing position
• Assisting with consults and surgical procedures
• General hospital and patient care duties
• Supporting veterinarians and the wider nursing team

📅 Monday 17 August – Friday 25 September 2026

• Approximately 38 hours per week
• Includes Saturday morning shifts during the placement
• Consistent roster available across the full six-week block
• Opportunity for ongoing work may be available for the right candidate

About You

• Qualified or experienced Veterinary Nurse
• Comfortable in an all-rounder nursing role
• Surgical experience beneficial but not essential
• Positive, adaptable and team-oriented approach
