An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, multi-species practice in the Scottish Borders. This role is focused on small animal nursing and would suit a caring, enthusiastic RVN looking to become part of a friendly and professional team committed to delivering excellent patient care and outstanding client service.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an equal share of a Saturday morning rota. There are no out-of-hours requirements, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

The Role

As part of a supportive clinical team, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to small animal patients.

  • Assist veterinary surgeons with procedures and diagnostics.

  • Run nurse consultations and provide excellent client support.

  • Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical compliance.

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and professional working environment.

About You

Applicants should:

  • Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and a member of the RCVS.

  • Be up to date with CPD requirements.

  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Be compassionate, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional standards of care.

  • Enjoy building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
