The role is based at a well-equipped, progressive practice located in the North London area. The practice is part of a larger, supportive network, providing access to a thriving community of veterinary professionals and an excellent case variation.
About the Role and Team 🩺
As a Head Nurse, the successful candidate will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team. You will ensure the delivery of exceptional care to clients and patients while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
This is a fulfilling role that combines hands-on nursing with team development. Responsibilities include:

Providing clinical leadership, inspiration, and development to the nursing team.

Leading nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.

Supporting consultations, surgeries, and procedures.

Managing patient monitoring, care, admissions, and discharges.

Please note: This role includes working some Bank Holidays and 2 weeks of on-call support at a nearby 24-hour hospital.
About You 🌟
To be considered for this role, you should be:

A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with the RCVS.

A confident leader with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
