Are you a confident and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon looking for flexible sole charge work within a friendly independent practice?

We are supporting a well-established independent small animal practice in Wiltshire seeking an experienced Locum Vet to provide cover across a selection of dates between July and September.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team that prides itself on delivering high-quality, community-focused veterinary care, with a strong emphasis on clinical freedom, continuity of care and building lasting client relationships.
 

The Practice

This independent practice has built an excellent reputation within the local community for providing friendly, approachable and high-quality veterinary care. With a loyal client base and supportive team culture, they are passionate about offering a personal service while maintaining excellent clinical standards.

You will be working alongside an experienced RVN and VCA, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding patient and client care throughout the day.
 

The Role

All shifts are sole charge and require a vet who is comfortable managing both consultations and routine surgery independently as well as any emergencies which arrive. 
 

Dates Available

July : 2nd, 14th

August : 4th, 5th, 6th, 13th, 21st, 24th

September: 1st, 3rd, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
 

Shift Times

• 9:00am – 7:00pm

Consult Length 

• 15-minute consults

About You

To be considered, you will be:

• An experienced MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
• Confident working in sole charge environments
• Comfortable with both consultations and routine surgery 
• Able to manage emergency presentations when required
• Friendly, professional and client-focused

Rates & Payroll

• Up to £500 Per Day Depending On Experience 
• Sole Trader, Limited Company or Umbrella payroll
