Looking for a clinic where you're more than just a number?

A place where clients know your name, generations of families keep coming back, and the team genuinely enjoys working together?

A well-established, family-owned veterinary clinic in Brisbane's north is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join its close-knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a long-standing practice that has built its reputation on exceptional patient care, strong community relationships, and looking after both its clients and its staff.

Why This Clinic?

In an industry where corporate targets and KPIs are becoming increasingly common, this independent clinic has stayed true to what matters most: providing great veterinary care and building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

The clinic has been part of the local community for many years and continues to care for multiple generations of families who trust the team with their pets year after year.

It's a busy practice with a steady flow of appointments and procedures, but without the pressure of sales targets or unrealistic expectations.

The Team

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team that values collaboration, communication, and helping one another throughout the day.

The culture is one where:

  • Everyone works together

  • Nurses are valued for their skills and input

  • Patient care comes first

  • Team members are encouraged to continue learning and developing

  • Long-term relationships are built with both clients and colleagues

The Role

This is a hands-on nursing role offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to utilise your nursing skills across all areas of practice.

Your day may include:

  • Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring

  • Hospital patient care

  • Nurse consultations

  • Laboratory work

  • Client education and support

  • Reception and client service duties

  • Assisting veterinarians with medical and surgical cases

  • Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinic presentation

No two days are exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety and being actively involved in patient care.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about nursing and enjoys being part of a supportive team environment.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or be working towards completion)

  • Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role

  • Confidence with anaesthetic monitoring and patient care

  • Strong communication and client service skills

  • A positive, team-focused attitude

  • A genuine passion for animal welfare and patient advocacy

  • The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to become part of a clinic and community for the long term.

Why This Role?

This isn't just another nursing position.

It's an opportunity to join a respected independent clinic where relationships matter, team culture is valued, and the focus remains on delivering excellent care rather than hitting targets.

If you're looking for a clinic where you can settle in, build lasting relationships, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day, we'd love to hear from you.
