Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night RVN to join a progressive, independent veterinary practice in Central London, working within a dedicated out-of-hours team and providing outstanding emergency and inpatient care.

This is an ideal role for a nurse with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) who is looking to play a key role in a well-established and highly respected veterinary practice.

The Role

As a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care throughout the night, working independently while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Nursing and monitoring hospitalised inpatients
• Assisting with emergency consultations and admissions
• Triaging emergency cases over the telephone
• Providing compassionate support to clients during stressful situations
• Delivering emergency and critical care nursing
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Ensuring excellent standards of patient welfare and client care

This is a fully awake night shift, offering a varied caseload and the opportunity to develop your emergency nursing skills within a busy and rewarding environment.

About You

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who:

• Has previous nursing experience and confidence working nights
• Has an interest in Emergency and Critical Care nursing
• Demonstrates excellent communication and telephone skills
• Remains calm and professional under pressure
• Delivers exceptional patient and client care
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
