The Role

As a Referral Night Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will become a key member of the dedicated overnight team, delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and caring for referral and hospitalised patients
• Providing emergency and critical care nursing
• Supporting advanced surgical and medical cases
• Delivering and monitoring anaesthesia
• Managing inpatient treatments and recovery plans
• Working collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and nursing colleagues
• Maintaining the highest standards of patient welfare and client care

The hospital offers exposure to a varied and exciting caseload, including:

• Orthopaedic procedures
• TPLO surgeries
• Fracture repairs
• Complex medical cases
• Laparoscopic procedures
• Emergency and critical care cases
• Advanced referral work

About You

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who:

• Has strong clinical nursing skills
• Enjoys working within a referral or hospital environment
• Remains calm and confident in emergency situations
• Has excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
• Has a compassionate and empathetic approach to nursing

Previous referral, ECC, or hospital experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
