A proudly independent, RCVS‑accredited small animal practice in Bedfordshire is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, progressive team.

The Role

This is a full or part‑time position with flexibility across 3, 4 or 5 days, up to 37.5 hours per week. The rota includes:

• 1:4 Friday night inpatient cover

• 1:4 Saturday daytime

• No emergency work on Fri/Sat/Sun nights — these are outsourced

• Friday nights are inpatient care only, as the practice does not transfer patients

This setup offers a great balance: continuity of care for your own patients without the intensity of full OOH emergency work.

Who we're looking for

• A vet with a medical or imaging bias looking to deepen your caseload

• A confident all‑round GP wanting to cement your skills

• Someone excited by leadership or management development

• Keen to pursue certificates with full practice support

Salary up to £55,000 per annum along with a host of other benefits.
