Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Merseyside
Salary: Up to £40,000 pro rata | 7 Nights On, 14 Nights Off
Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an excellent work-life balance without compromising on clinical exposure?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Night RVN to join a well-equipped small animal practice in Merseyside. This role offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated and supportive team, providing exceptional overnight care to patients while enjoying an enviable rota of just one week on followed by two weeks off.
The Role
As the Night RVN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high standards of inpatient care, monitoring hospitalised patients, assisting with emergency cases and supporting the veterinary surgeon throughout the night. You’ll thrive in a calm, organised environment where your nursing skills and clinical judgement are highly valued.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys emergency and critical care, values autonomy and wants to be part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.
About You
My client is looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
- Has excellent clinical and patient care skills.
- Is confident working nights and managing inpatient care.
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicates effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Has a calm, compassionate and proactive approach.
Previous experience in a hospital or emergency setting would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Pattern
- 7 consecutive night shifts.
- 14 consecutive nights off.
- Excellent work-life balance with regular extended time away from work.
