Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Bradford
Salary: £45,269 – £60,062 (including allowances)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys variety and wants to make a meaningful difference every day. You'll work with a diverse medical and surgical caseload, giving you the chance to develop your clinical skills while providing high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be confident managing a varied caseload, making evidence-based clinical decisions and communicating treatment options clearly with clients. You'll be comfortable creating practical treatment plans that balance clinical needs with individual circumstances, always maintaining a welfare-focused approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. You'll enjoy working collaboratively within an experienced team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of clinical services.

Working Pattern

A flexible rota has been designed to support a healthy work-life balance and includes:

• 37.5 hours per week
• 7.5-hour working days within core hours of 8:30am–6:00pm
• Fixed daily hours with flexibility around days worked
• Applications welcomed from candidates seeking a range of working patterns
• Approximately one-third surgical work and two-thirds consulting
• A shared weekend rota with no lone working
• Weekend shifts worked alongside another Veterinary Surgeon to ensure support and collaboration
• Weekend shifts are either 7.5 or 9 hours in length
