We're working with a modern, purpose-built hospital on the Gold Coast that's looking for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a confident GP vet who enjoys a varied caseload, values strong nursing support, and wants to be part of a friendly, experienced team.

The role has become available following the relocation of a long-standing veterinarian, so you'll be stepping into an established client base within a busy and well-supported clinic.

The Role

• Full-time position
• Four-day working week
• Mix of consulting and surgery
• Sole charge one weekday each week
• Every second Saturday morning roster
• Strong nursing support throughout the day
• Opportunity to manage your own cases while working alongside an experienced team

The Clinic

The hospital underwent a complete refurbishment in 2023 and has been thoughtfully designed to create an efficient workflow for both vets and nurses.

Facilities include:

• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• Dedicated ultrasound room
• Dedicated x-ray room
• Modern dental suite
• Fully equipped surgical theatre
• Two treatment benches
• Dedicated cat ward
• Separate dog run
• Three consulting rooms

The nursing team is highly experienced and plays an active role in patient care, allowing veterinarians to focus on diagnostics, treatment and client communication.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is confident with both consultations and routine surgery
• Is comfortable working sole charge when required
• Enjoys building lasting relationships with clients
• Works well within a collaborative team
• Holds a Veterinary degree recognised for registration in Australia
• Has full Australian working rights
