Who they are
This is a proudly independent, multi award-winning small animal practice in a charming Norfolk market town, set in one of the most beautiful and accessible parts of the county — close to the stunning North Norfolk coast and surrounded by outstanding countryside. The practice is part of a well-regarded independent group with a strong team culture and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of both its patients and its people.

The team is well-resourced and collaborative — five vets, four RVNs, one SVN, three VCAs and five receptionists, all working together with strong support at every level. Experienced vet support is readily available within the practice and the culture is one where everyone genuinely pulls together.

Facilities include dental X-ray, digital X-ray, ultrasound and a full on-site laboratory running biochemistry, haematology, snap tests, urinalysis and microscopy.

What you will do
You will be working across a varied mix of consultations and operations each week, with 15-minute consult slots starting from 8.30am in well-spaced blocks throughout the day — giving genuine time to follow up cases properly rather than rushing from one appointment to the next. Four days per week from 8.30am to 6.30pm with the same day off every week for continuity and easier life planning.

One in five Saturdays. No out of hours.

What you will gain
Up to £60,000 depending on experience. CPD allowance with certificate funding. VDS membership paid. Discounted veterinary fees. Pension. Employee assistance programme. Career progression opportunities within a growing independent group.

What they need from you
An enthusiastic, motivated Veterinary Surgeon who takes pride in delivering high-quality care to both patients and clients, enjoys a mix of consulting and surgical work and wants to be part of a well-supported, friendly independent practice in a genuinely beautiful part of Norfolk.
