We're looking for a full-time Veterinarian with 3+ years' experience and a genuine interest in dairy cattle. About the Practice
We're a small but rapidly growing mixed practice with a strong reputation throughout the local farming community.
Our caseload consists of approximately:
- 80% Dairy – predominantly spring calving herds ranging from family-owned farms to large corporate operations.
- 15% Beef
- 5% Small ruminants, equine and the occasional companion animal consultation.
We're fortunate to work alongside loyal, long-standing clients who value preventative veterinary care and collaborative herd health management. As our client base continues to grow, we're excited to welcome another veterinarian to the team.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on dairy medicine and building long-term relationships with producers.
You'll be involved in:
- Farm-based medical and surgical cases.
- Preventative herd health planning and production medicine.
- Reproductive management and fertility work.
- Lameness investigations and treatment.
- Working collaboratively with producers to improve herd health and productivity.
- Contributing to a supportive and knowledgeable veterinary team committed to delivering exceptional client service.
