The Role

As a Float Veterinarian, you'll work across a number of New York City locations, providing continuity of care while gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Wellness and preventative medicine
• Medical consultations and diagnostics
• Treatment of illness and injury
• Vaccinations and preventative healthcare
• Maintaining accurate digital medical records
• Client education and communication
• Delivering consistently high clinical standards across multiple hospitals

Requirements

• DVM / VMD (or equivalent)
• Eligible to work in the US
• Active New York veterinary licence (or ability to obtain)
• DEA licence (or ability to obtain)
• Passion for high-quality companion animal medicine
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable travelling between multiple New York City locations
• DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university
• NAVLE certification
• ECFVG or PAVE (if graduated from a non-AVMA accredited program)
• USDA accreditation (preferred)
