The Opportunity

A privately owned 24/7 veterinary hospital in Baldivis is looking for experienced Emergency Veterinarians to assist with an overnight locum block between 6 September and 20 September.

The clinic is flexible and welcomes expressions of interest from veterinarians who can assist with part of the block or those available for the entire period.

You’ll join a highly supportive emergency team managing a diverse caseload in a well-equipped hospital with experienced nurses and excellent clinical support.

The Role

• Emergency consultations
• Emergency surgical procedures
• Hospital case management
• Stabilisation and ongoing care of critical patients
• Working collaboratively within a dedicated emergency team
• Approximately 4–5 overnight shifts per week

About You

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)
• Eligible for registration as a Veterinary Surgeon in Western Australia
• Demonstrated emergency veterinary experience
• Confident managing emergency consultations, emergency surgery and hospital cases independently
• Calm under pressure with excellent clinical judgement
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
