GVC is supporting a multi-site small animal group in West Yorkshire with a hospital-based opportunity for a Surgical Veterinary Surgeon or RCVS Advanced Practitioner (Surgery and/or Orthopaedics).
This is a permanent position, available full-time or part-time, with a salary of £80,000–£100,000 depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the group’s surgical and orthopaedic service within the hospital setting
• Manage a varied surgical and orthopaedic caseload, taking ownership of case planning through to post-op outcomes
• Use imaging and diagnostics (including CT) to support confident clinical decision-making and quality patient care
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth referrals, handovers, and continuity of care across sites
• Mentor and support colleagues, building capability and consistency in surgical standards
• Help shape service direction, pathways and ways of working to strengthen surgical provision over time
