Veterinary Surgeon – No OOH + Modern Kit – Exeter Area – Up to £65,000 DOE
A well-equipped small animal practice in the Exeter area is looking to welcome an experienced, personable Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, supportive team. This is a full-time position with no out-of-hours, a shared Saturday rota, and a genuinely varied caseload.
The practice
You’ll be joining an established, collaborative team made up of:
- 3 Veterinary Surgeons (including a vet with a high exotics caseload)
- 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses
- 1 Student Veterinary Nurse
- 2 Veterinary Care Assistants
- 2 Client Care Assistants
There’s also the added support of a new local Branch Partner, bringing fresh leadership and stability.
The role
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- No OOH
- Saturday rota (supporting a strong work-life balance)
- Varied caseload with the support to keep developing clinically

The practice is set up to support high standards and enjoyable clinical work, including:
- Laparoscopic surgical equipment
- X-ray
- Ultrasound
- Strong in-house lab capability
