My client in Essex is looking for an ambitious, confident and clinically strong MRCVS to step into an Area Veterinary Surgeon position, supporting a cluster of practices. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a clinical team but is also ready to have a wider influence, supporting colleagues, driving clinical standards and helping shape the delivery of exceptional veterinary care across multiple sites.

You’ll become a key point of support for Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs across your area, helping teams develop their skills, sharing knowledge and encouraging a culture of clinical excellence.

• Support and mentor Veterinary Surgeons and nursing teams across the area.

About you

You’ll be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with solid clinical experience and a genuine passion for high standards of patient and client care.

You’ll ideally be someone who:

• Is confident working independently and making clinical decisions.
• Enjoys supporting and developing other Veterinary Surgeons.
• Is approachable, organised and a natural communicator.
• Has a genuine interest in clinical leadership and governance.
• Enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others grow.
• Can build strong relationships across different teams and locations.
• Still enjoys getting stuck into clinical work yourself!
