An excellent locum opportunity is available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join a privately owned veterinary hospital in Benalla, North-East Victoria.

This is a fantastic option for a confident GP vet looking for a short-term regional locum with an attractive $1,000 per day rate, accommodation supplied and a straightforward Monday-to-Friday roster.

The Opportunity

• Immediate start through to mid September 2026
• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 5:00pm
• 5 days per week
• $1,000 per day

• Small animal general practice

The Role

You’ll be joining a well-equipped, purpose-built small animal hospital with a varied GP caseload.

The clinic is looking for a competent veterinarian who is comfortable managing a broad range of medical and surgical presentations. You’ll need to be confident working sole charge and comfortable independently managing cases through to resolution.

The Support

Although sole charge capability is essential, you’ll have excellent nursing support around you, with approximately 3.5 highly trained veterinary nurses supporting the practice.
