This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys clinical nursing, animal welfare and working alongside the next generation of veterinary professionals.

✨ The Role

Working closely with the academic lead and Veterinary Surgeons, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the clinic, ensuring the highest standards of animal care, welfare, surgical support and patient recovery.

You’ll also have the opportunity to support veterinary students in a teaching environment, helping create a positive and professional clinical learning experience.

🐶🐱 What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-quality nursing care and ensuring excellent animal welfare throughout the surgical journey
  • Supporting Veterinary Surgeons during spay and neuter procedures

  • Contributing to health & safety documentation, including risk assessments, COSHH and SOPs

💙 Why this role?

  • 16 hours per week across Tuesday & Wednesday

  • No requirement for weekends or out-of-hours work
  • Work within a dedicated educational and clinical environment
  • Be part of a team supporting and developing veterinary students
  • Modern clinical facilities including two operating theatres, hospital-standard dog kennels and a cattery
  • Full uniform and PPE provided
  • Opportunity to contribute to a genuinely rewarding teaching and clinical environment
  • Excellent opportunity for an RVN looking for a part-time role with consistent hours

👩‍⚕️ About you

We’re looking for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with thorough and significant nursing experience, including experience within a veterinary theatre environment.
