OOH Veterinary Surgeon – Hampshire

My client in Hampshire is looking for for an experienced OOH Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and collaborative team in Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-equipped small animal environment, with a strong focus on clinical development, teamwork and delivering high-quality patient and client care.

The Role

  • OOH rota of 7 nights on / 14 nights off
  • Participation in the Sunday day rota – approximately 1 in 6
  • Two bank holiday day shifts per year
  • Flexible rota options available
  • Part-time opportunities may be considered
  • Responsibility for managing a varied caseload of medical and surgical cases
  • Opportunity to work with a supportive team of vets, nurses, PCAs and reception colleagues

About You

They are looking for a confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who:

  • Is passionate about providing excellent patient and client care
  • Is confident managing medical and surgical cases independently
  • Can lead cases and undertake diagnostic investigations
  • Has a strong level of clinical autonomy
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues
  • Is keen to continue developing their clinical skills
  • Can contribute to maintaining and improving clinical standards
  • Has excellent communication and client-care skills
